Rates
$150 per 45-minute psychotherapy session.
$170 per 55-minute psychotherapy session.
$200 per initial intake session.
I offer a sliding scale fee for private pay arrangements on a limited basis.
Insurance
I am a participating provider in the following insurance networks:
- Anthem Blue Cross
- Blue Shield of California
- MHN (Managed Health Network)
- UBH/Optum
- Magellan
I am not currently a participating provider on any other insurance networks. However, many insurance carriers allow you to see an out-of-network therapist of your choice if you have a Preferred Provider (PPO) or Point of Service (POS) plans. You can call your provider and ask if they will allow you to see a non-participating professional therapist of your choice. I can provide you with a statement suitable for insurance reimbursement if your health insurance carrier allows you to choose an out of network provider.
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions prior to making an appointment:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- Can I choose an Out of Network Provider?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my plan cover?
- What is the coverage amount per session?
- Is approval required from my primary physician?
Reduced Fee
For individuals without health insurance, reduced fee services are available on a limited basis.
